AutoLocal Customer Terms

AutoLocal is a marketplace operated by ValetOS. We introduce customers to independent, vetted mobile valeting and SMART repair operators in their area. We do not carry out the work ourselves and we are not a repairer or valeter.

When you book or accept a quote through AutoLocal, the contract for the work is between you and the operating company that carries out the job. AutoLocal is only a middle man and is not a party to that contract.

Prices shown on AutoLocal include a booking fee (deposit) that is paid to AutoLocal to secure your appointment. The balance of the work is paid directly to the operating company, unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation.

The booking fee is separate from the cost of the work. It is retained by AutoLocal as the platform fee for sourcing and arranging the job.

The operating company is responsible for carrying out the work with reasonable skill and care, and for any damage caused by them or their staff while performing the job.

AutoLocal does not accept liability for the quality, timing, outcome or completion of any job. Any claim relating to the work itself must be made against the operating company that carried it out.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You can cancel or reschedule through your booking link, subject to the operating company's cancellation window. If you cancel outside that window, the booking fee may not be refundable.

If the operating company cancels or fails to attend, we will help re-offer the job to another operator or arrange a refund of the booking fee where appropriate.

If you are unhappy with the work, contact the operating company in the first instance. If the issue is not resolved, you can raise it with AutoLocal and we will mediate where possible.

AutoLocal's decision on marketplace disputes is final, but it does not affect your legal rights against the operating company.

We share your contact details and job information with the operating company so they can carry out the work. They must keep your data secure and use it only for that purpose.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
